Phuket Island is internationally known as a tourist, beach destination. Its west coast is littered with five star hotels and international resorts, however, on the south east of the island is Phuket 'old' town. Unlike its glitzzy brethren, as well as being the provincial capital, the old town is more like a traditional Thai small town.
The government offices for Phuket town, are near the town centre, and near the provincial admin building. In what could be called, the government precinct. The offices are a rather bright green, so easily spotted from afar.
