Know Dangers:
This is the back country of the Rocky Mountains and there is always a danger of Bears and Mountain Lions. The Elk can get pretty testy when it is mating season. Oh, and then there is always the chance of running accross a Coach Whip snake or Mountain Rattler.

The Un-Named Mine that this Medallion adorns does not appear on the TOPO Maps, yet others in the area do. It is recognized by the Colorado Division of Mined Lands Reclamation Division but shows up nowhere on the maps I have been able to research.
