The Thunder Mountain Line opperates over a line built to McCall, Idaho along the North Fork Payette River by the Idaho Northern from 1910 to 1914. The railroad served the mining, ranching, and timber interests along the route until the late 1990s. This depot facility was built for the Thunder Mountain Line which was established about 2003 to offer scenic tours along sections of the route.
