The Payette River Scenic Byway extends for over 100 miles from Eagle, Idaho via Idaho Hwy 55 to New Meadows, Idaho. The Byway meanders through foothills, mountain valleys, canyons, forests, and wide-open valleys.
At this location there is an informational byway sign and a historic marker about the Long Valley Ambush.
