DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1982 0.5 KM (0.3 MI) WEST FROM NEW MEADOWS. 0.5 KM (0.3 MI) WEST ALONG US HIGHWAY 95 FROM JUNCTION OF STATE HIGHWAY 55 IN NEW MEADOWS, SET VERTICALLY BETWEEN THE TWO WINDOWS IN THE WEST FACE OF THE WEST WALL OF THE OLD RAILROAD STATION WHICH IS NOW THE PUBLIC LIBRARY, 56.1 METERS (184 FT) SOUTH OF THE HIGHWAY CENTERLINE, 13.7 METERS (45 FT) SOUTH OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE BUILDING. THE MARK IS 1.0 M ABOVE THE GROUND.
