This memorial flagpole is located in Pioneer Park in Newman, Ca. The flagpole sits on a clay tile pedestal. The flag pole is made of metal. The trees grow near the pole and in the summer the shade makes the tiles very cool. We would stop here as kids to cool off and during the Fall Festival it was always a popular spot to sit. The town is named after Simon Newman.
