This Penny Smasher is located in the Gift Shop in the Museum at March Field in Riverside. There is no admission charge to access the Gift Shop, but if you like military aircraft, then this is a good place to visit.

This is a single-die electric machine. The design is of the SR-71. The machine had been out of the museum for some time, presumably for service. When I inquired at the entry desk, everyone thought it was still gone. Luckily, someone thought to double check with the Gift Shop and it had just been returned several days earlier. The machine worked perfectly.
