of The Parish of St Mary's Northchurch,
St Mary's is one of the oldest parish churches in Hertfordshire. It has been a centre for worship, prayer and service since before the Norman Conquest of England in 1066 A.D. also Peter the Wild Boy is buried there.
The canal and railway have played a big part in this area.
