Poor Ben, he may be the world's largest jackrabbit, but all he can do is sit and smile. Seems that after a "hare-raising" experience in 1997 someone attempted to rabbit-nap him, he was permanently bolted down.
Made in 1962 out of fiberglass, Ben is 8 feet tall. Located at the intersection of North Sam Houston and West 8th, there is plenty of parking nearby. As is often the case with Roadside Attractions, the best part of the visit is getting your picture taken with Ben, and you don't have to worry about him hopping away, making it a very worthwhile stop, since he's always there and always available.
