Marlow Cemetery is a large cemetery on the northeast edge of Marlow. From Highway 81, turn east on Memorial Street to the end.
We were distressed to discover this MWA marker fallen and lying on the ground. We have contacted the WOW organization in hopes that they have information in their records to contact this family.
This is a large tree stump marker with crossed hatchets and MWA. The inscription reads:
J.T. Thompson
born
Oct. 22, 1864
died
Oct. 28, 1907
Beneath is a poem reading:
A precious one from us is gone
A voice we loved is stilled
A place is vacant in our home
That never can be filled
