The Midland Town Hall lies ~30mins drive east of the City of Perth, and was constructed in 1906-7, at a time of prosperity (gold) and optimism. At the front entrance way to the Hall are three plaques commemorating local citizens who died in the war.
The first plaque describes the memorial, and lists the names of the people involved in the construction of the plaques. The second and third plaques list the names of the deceased, in alphabetical order (apart from one last name on third plaque).
