O.P. Chaney Grain Elevator. The village of Canal Winchester and the Canal Winchester Area Historical Society (CWAHS) are restoring the former O.P. Chaney grain elevator at Oak and North High streets in Canal Winchester. The elevator was built by O.P. Chaney in 1887, and served Madison Township farmers under various owners until 1978. The CWAHS plans to use the restored elevator as an agricultural museum as well as meeting and office space for the society."
