Located right in front of the entrance of the convent of the nun's order that Mother Teresa of Calcutta headed, is a small metal statuette.

?Madre Teresa di Calcutta is a nun of albanian origin, that lived from 1910 to 1997, that founded the order of Missionarie della Carita'.

In 1979, she received the Nobel Peace Prize, for her efforts in helping the poor, and the dignity of each individual person. She did not attend the prize ceremony, saying that the money saved be given to support the poor in Calcutta, India.

The bust is a gift from India to the city of Rome. It is located in a lawn in front of the Rome chapter of the order that Madre Teresa founded.
