At the intersection of the section of the mall at the Shops at La Cantera where Tiffany's jewelry store is, where the path divides to go either toward Neiman Marcus, or to Nordstrum, there is a fountain fed pool designed to blend in as a nature-scape. The fountain source comes from two channels of water that flow down a short cascade of rock into a wide, deep collecting pool. The overflow from this upper pool spills over the flat sandstone rocks forming a barrier midway across the pool into a lower pool that extends to the pedestrian walking path where the shopper pass by. It really is more a pool with a small waterfall than a fountain, but however one decides to view it, it is aestetically beautiful and calming. There is an oval stone plaque on the west end of the fountain/pool near the steps going up to the walkway that passes in front of the store fronts.
