The mural is entitled It takes a Village to Raise a Child. It is painted on a concrete block wall or perhaps it is extremely long, flat, narrow brick. The mural is about thirty-five feet long and depicts an eclectic array of scenes which has absolutely nothing to do with the title and in a way, seems kind of amateurish. There is no record of this mural to be found anywhere.

The mural can be accessed from East Godfrey Avenue (closest) or from Champlost Street (little further away). Both offer street-side parking. The park is open from dawn to dusk and also features two full court basketball courts, tennis courts, a large green, grassy area, a couple of war memorials and some paths to walk in and about the park.
