The citizens of Tecumseh have gathered together and funded this lovely memorial to the local citizens who have served in the armed forces.
At the corner of Broadway and Washington in downtown Tecumseh stands a gray 6 ft. granite pillar capped with a slab of black granite showing the inscription: "Erected as a tribute to our sons and daughters who have served their country with honor." Atop the pillar are bronze heads of four service personnel with the inscription: World War II, World War I, Korea and Vietnam.
Two raised areas of donated pavers line the pathway in this area. There are an estimated 300 pavers. There is a bench and shrubs and flower gardens.
