The Centennial clock was erected in 1996 and to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Rotary Club in Prestatyn the poles were built around with brick creating a circular wooden seat and a 'Wishing Well'. The rim of the well is made of four pieces of Welsh slate which are inscribed:-

                Rotary Club of Prestatyn,
              Centenary Wishing Well 2005,
                Rotary Club of Prestatyn,
               Supporting Local Charities
