The Mercer Veteran's Memorial Park is located on Highway 51 in Mercer just across from the famous Mercer loon. This park is dedicated to veterans, not to the branch of service. And it honors all veterans, not one specific veteran.
The memorial is a walkway lined with donated flagpoles, leading to a center area which features an eagle atop a memorial with symbols honoring all branches of the service. The pavers make up the walkway and can be purchased and donated in memory and honor of veterans.
