The Lynden Post Office is a beautiful example of Art Deco architecture, however inside is this mural depicting the life of Phoebe Goodell Judson. Having arrived in the Lynden area in the 1870s by canoe she quickly established a post office in her living room. Later she gave Lynden's its name and is considered the "Mother of Lynden".
