The Suphan Buri central park is a major local tourist spot, with a host of sights and activities. One of these sights is a rather impressive statue of a horse in the northern corner of the park. The plaque, so I was told, states that this statue is of the 'perfect' horse. In other words the epitome of Equus caballus.

I am at a loss as to why this statue was created, I could find nothing about it, however, it is included in a number of official images of the province. This does suggest some degree of historical or cultural importance.
