It is set vertically in the east wall at the southeast corner of a fire house located at the northwest corner of the junction of McDuffie Street and South Main Street. THE STATION IS LOCATED IN MANCHESTER. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE I-293 AND STATE ROUTE 101 OVERPASS BRIDGE OVER U.S. ROUTE 3 IN BEDFORD, GO NORTH FOR 1.05 MI (1.69 KM) ON ROUTE 3 TO THE JUNCTION OF SOUTH MAIN STREET AT THE BEDFORD/MANCHESTER CITY LINE. BEAR LEFT AND GO NORTH ON SOUTH MAIN STREET FOR 0.65 MI (1.05 KM) TO MCDUFFIE STREET AND A FIRE HOUSE ON THE LEFT. THE STATION IS A STANDARD (STATE SURVEY) DISK STAMPED -G 8 1934-, SET VERTICALLY IN THE SOUTHEAST END OF THE BRICK FIRE STATION WALL, 2.0 FT (0.6 M) ABOVE THE GROUND, AND 3.0 FT (0.9 M) NORTH FROM THE SOUTHEAST END OF THE BUILDING.

This station is not bluebooked with the NGS at this time.

As an aside, the fire station building is about 100 years old, and it's a bricklayer's work of art: functional, beautiful, and built to last.
