This station, a New Hampshire Department of Transportation standard survey disk, stamped -071 0300-, is a Cooperative Base Network Control Station located in Candia, NH. It has been reported as suitable for satellite observations (GPS able) in 2004.
To reach the station from the Auburn/Candia town line on Old Candia Road, go east for 0.8 mile to the station on the right, or from the junction of NH43 and NH101 exit 3 ramps, go south for 0.9 mile to the NH 101 overpasses, then 0.1 mi to the junction of Brown Road and the station on the left.
The station is set into a 1 ft x 2 ft rock ledge flush with the ground, 2 ft below Old Candia Road, 76.1 ft south from the center of Old Candia Road, 66.9 ft west from the center of Brown Road, 54.1 ft northeast from the edge of woods, and 19.3 south-southwest from power pole 6E/50.
There are additional direction points such as guy wires, but the description as shown is adequate, however, the NGS datasheet refers to Brown Road as Hook Road; it is in fact Brown Road.
The mark was actually very easy to find as it is out in the open in a grass triangle, and there was a wooden witness post at the station.
