This C-119G, "State of Utah," RCAF S/N 22107, was manufactured by Fairchild and delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force in December 1954. It served at various bases throughout Canada until it was sold to Frank Shelly of Los Angeles, California, in 1967. The aircraft was later sold to the forest-fire fighting company Hawkins and Powers of Greybull, Wyoming. Hill Aerospace Museum acquired the aircraft from Hawkins and Powers on November 5, 1985 for static display.

Hill Aerospace Museum's C-119G is painted in the colors of the 733rd Troop Carrier Squadron and closely resembles the original "State of Utah" aircraft. The name "Maj. Rex A. Hadley" is painted beneath the pilot's window to commemorate the distinguished service of a former 733rd pilot who much later became the Chairman of the Aerospace Heritage Foundation of Utah, Major General Rex A. Hadley, USAFR (retired)(deceased).
