The town and province of Ang Thong are found ~100kms north of Bangkok. A way outside town is this historic Wat, which contains a reclining Buddha and an ancient prasat. According to the informational plaque at the site, the Wat was named after a prominent, local embezzler. No dates given.

The grounds of the Wat are also a local tourist spot, a place to come, relax, make an offering, and then have a day or half day off with the family.
