The memorial stands in front of the city hall, in a small, grassy plaza. The memorial consists of a middle stone panel with the following engraved: "To keep forever living the freedom for which they died. We dedicate this memorial to our dead in World War II, Korea and Vietnam."

On either side is the names of the war dead. In the middle is a column with a sword and wreath in the middle. On top of the column is a stone eagle.
