The Peggy V. Helmerich Library is part of the Tulsa City-County Library System. The library grounds are nicely landscaped with flowers and several sculptures on the grounds.
The library opened to the public on February 10, 1991, in a 9,800 sq. ft. facility, with a capacity for 35,000 volumes. The total cost was just over a million dollars (data from library website).
There are 20 computers for patron use, and a meeting room that holds 75.
Helmerich Library is on the north side of 91st Street, just east of S. Yale.
