Upland's city hall is located in the Upland Civic Center. The city hall and the library are both in the civic center. One is facing the other, as if a mirror image. The front of the civic center is mission style, with many archways. The complex probably dates to the 1940s or 1950s. Both the library and city hall open to an open plaza.
In front of the civic center is a statue of Upland's founder,George Chaffey, Jr. .
Upland is a city in San Bernardino County, California. The city has an elevation of 1,242 feet. It was incorporated in 1906. The city's population is 68,393. In the past, the city's been kown as North Ontario.
