Toby Keith, a legend in the country and western music field became interested in music at his grandmother's supper club, which he would get up on the bandstand to play with the musicians. He got his first guitar at the age of eight.
Later he and friends formed a band, Easy Money, which played in local venues. Little by little, he became known, got noticed by Nashville and began writing and playing top hits since the early 1990s. He currently has his own music label, and has even acted in a couple of films.
One of his hit singles was "I Love This Bar." This restaurant and club, located in a renovated warehouse district of Oklahoma City called "Bricktown" is a wildly popular place, and the neon guitar which faces the tourist canal reminds us why his restaurant and club is called "Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill."
