The headquarters and staff quarters were completed in 1933 and used until about 1964. Park rangers patrolled the park in the summer by canoe and in the winter by snowshoe, clearing trail lines, looking for poachers, maintaining the bush telephone line and enforcing park regulations. This sign includes images of some of the park's early rangers as well as their quarters.
