This milestone is on a stone in the wall of the Shire Hall. This building is home to the Old Crown Courts and Cells and was famously where the Tolpuddle Martyrs were tried. There are a couple of plaques on the wall to commemorate them.

The milestone has some clear lettering and both local and distant places listed.
