This is one of many granite posts used to mark the "corner" points on the boundary lines between towns in Massachusetts, in this case, the Towns of Hamilton and Wenham. It is about nine inches square and two feet high. The letter "H" (for Hamilton) is painted on one side, and "W" (for Wenham) is on the opposite side.

To reach the marker, park near the southeast end of Coy Pond on the Gordon College campus. Follow the broad wood road trails toward the beach and swimming area, but take the trail fork left where the large compost piles are, about 150 yards before the swimming area. Follow this trail west across the swamp, cross an iron plate bridge, and then take the third trail fork right (north). The marker is about 0.2 mile from the last junction, in a stone wall on the west side of and about thirty five yards from the trail.

The next adjacent marker heading northwest is Hamilton-Wenham C, about 0.2 mile.
The next adjacent marker heading southeast is Hamilton-Wenham A, 0.1 mile.
