This mural is part of downtown Watsonville's beautification with murals of the fruit crate labels which once graced local agricultural products.
This Iris brand label is more old-fashioned looking than most, with a graphically-confusing mix of different scripts. The iris is also old-fashioned looking, with its soft pastel curves in peculiar contrast to the bold yellow background.
