Old Stone Church erected on land which comprised the first Deed in organized Gregory, SD. The Church was dismantled in 1941 and only the cemetary remains. Many grave stones tell the tale of European immigrants that came by railraod from Ellis Island, NY to Dakota Territory in the 1870s and 1880s. Many cemetaries dot the region, with many grave stones carrying birthdates of the early 1800s.
