On the southwest corner of Seventh and Cedar Streets, across from the Noble County Courthouse in Perry, stands a vacant service station. The pumps indicate it was a Conoco station. South of the little office is a two bay brick building which was used for lubrication and a car wash.
It's interesting to note that the pumps were manufactured with no ability to register gasoline at a higher price than 99 cents per gallon. The photo of the pump is showing a sale of 40 gallons of gas, and the Dollar is "assumed," as the pump only shows a price of $.389, but shows a total sale of $56.76.
