This lovely green park is shaded by tall California oaks, with a large gazebo, a small playground, nice restrooms and waterfountains. It was donated to the city by the founding citizens specifically to be used for a park. In 1907 a handsome Carnegie Library (which is now the home of the Historical Society) was built near the center of the park.
City Park hosts many popular community events, including Farmers Market on Tuesday afternoons, the Country Craft Market on Saturday mornings, and the annual Paso Robles Wine Festival. The gazebo is the spot for Friday night concerts in the park during the summer.
