"Founded in 1956, Greenwood is located 20 minutes west of Minneapolis, Minnesota on Highway 7. Our beautiful city on the lake is home to about 800 people. We may be small, but we have a lot to offer. Greenwood residents enjoy our close proximity to Lake Minnetonka for our year-round fun including boating, waterskiing, fishing, kayaking, swimming, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, and skating. A regional trail winds along the west side of the city and is a favorite of bikers, walkers, and skiers."
