This cannon, reputedly used in the North West Rebellion, was one of a pair brought to the sire by Lt.-Colonel D.M. Robertson sometime after 1897. They were sold to St. Lawrence Parks Commission in 1958, and one was returned to the in 1997 through the efforts of the Sir John Johnsome Manor House Committe.
