The Citizens of Industry got together to errect a memorial to their Veterans from all wars that they served in.
There is a dedicated brick section along with this memorial. The names of the Veterans and the wars they served in range from the American Revolution through the Gulf wars, though no specific war is on the monument itself.
The area is maintained by volunteers who keep the area in beautiful condition.

Description of Memorial: The memorial is anchored by a black polished granite slab, and gray granite slabs on either side of it. The emblems of the services on either side of the main section.
There is an approach to the memorial that has a dedicated brick area, with black polished granite benches on both sides of the brick.
Behind the memorial are three flag poles. The center pole is flying the American flag. The left pole is flying the State of Illinois flag, and the far right pole is flying the black MIA Flag.
It is nicely landscaped with rose bushes behind the memorial. Behind the roses is a well kept grass area, that is maintained by volunteers.
