St. Jude the Apostle Parish was formed in 1966. Very nice complex, with school parish hall and related buildings and a outdoor station of the cross.

Church building is built along a small bluff, rare in south Louisiana. Large parish in the southern area of Baton Rouge. Originally had 600 families now serves well over 2200 families. The alter contains relics of the holy martyrs Sts. Gregory, Orasius, and Titus. Very peaceful and a nice location.
