This plaque is in front of a flagpole by the library's sign. Around the plaque is some seating. The library itself is located on Marine Dr, a few blocks from the municipal hall. The library's entrance is near the plaque. Parking is available in front of the plaque (if you're lucky)
The plaque reads: "Lest We Forget
This library was founded as a memorial to honour those of West Vancouver who gave their lives during 1939-1945 war so that future generations would have the freedoms to pursue knowledge without let or hindrance " It was placed by a local Royal Canadian Legion branch.
