Located at the south end of a paved pull out / parking area the mark is a steel rod in a sleeve with a hinged cover stamped NC 12 45 2000. A witness post and a painted mark on the pavement were observed on the day of my visit.

Located 56.5 ft west-southwest of the centerline of NC 12, 5.0 ft northeast of a witness post, 67.8 ft northwest of the west end of the northern-most twin 60 inch corrugated metal culverts under NC 12, and 60.3 ft northwest of an 8 inch post a reflector and a reference tag.
