This large cemetery is divided into sections for the various religions represented in the city and surrounding areas. There are the traditional rectangular plots as well as graves marked only by headstones in the new lawn section. A lovely bronze memorial for babies lost to SIDS is located at the entrance to the cemetery.
The Pioneer Cemetery headstones have been relocated here from the city centre.
There would be more than 2000 graves at this site.
