From here it is sometimes possible to see as far as Cardington about 11 miles to the north and to Sandy Heath TV mast even further away. The hill is a great place for a picnic or sledging. Which of course, depends on the time of year.
The trig point, sadly is the place where a lot of chalk is deposited by graffiti artists. However, since the hill here provides a lot of the raw materials for this we should not be surprised. The pillar is in good condition apart from this and so is the flush bracket.
Type of Trigpoint: Triangulation Pillar
Condition: Good
Number on Flush Bracket: S7162
