The Little Falls dam was completed in 1888 and spans the Mississippi River with a width of 830 feet and a height of 24 feet. The dam is used primarily for hydroelectric power.
There is a viewing platform and pullover area on the east bank of the Mississippi, you can get close enough to feel the water's spray.
