Do not park by the trailhead. Parking is available in Copper Mountain - about 1/2 mile east.

Trail allowances or restrictions: Dogs are allowed, but MUST be on a leash. This trail is used by many cyclists in the summer, so please keep an eye open for the riders. The area around this trail is very fragile, so please stay on the trail. Afternoon rainstorms are common. Rain comes quickly and temperatures drop suddenly. This trail is used for cross-county skiing in the winter.
