Memorial Park Cemetery is located on the north side of I-40, a few miles east of Amarillo.
The grounds are beautiful and well maintained.
We found this sundial near the center of the cemetery, on the westernmost drive. There was a huge rabbit running around the sundial when we approached.
The sundial itself is on a 3 foot tall, round concrete foundation. The sundial is a little worn, but still looks good and is a nice addition to the grounds. The foundation, however, is in really bad shape. There is paint peeling off in large amounts. There is some ornamental decoration near the top of the foundation, and that looks a bit weather worn too.
