The A/S32P-4 (Oshkosh M1500) was no ordinary fire truck. It was designed for aircraft fire and rescue but was capable to fight material and property fires. They were transportable in a C130. These trucks were skinned in insulated aluminum and kept the crew safe in fires and down to -40F in colder climates. They were powered by a CAT 343TA 6 cylinder diesel.
