The city of Calumet, in Itasca County, had a population of 383 in the 2000 census.
City Hall, formerly the village hall, stands on Gary Street, next to the U.S. Post Office for Calumet. Calumet was incorporated as a village in 1909, and became a city in 1974. The building is mostly ordinary red building brick, but it has unusual Art Deco trim. The "Village Hall" sign is also in Art Deco style.
