Located at 2131 Pan American Plaza, on the second floor in Balboa Park's Hall of Champions, this Hall of Fame celebrates athletes who are either from San Diego OR distinguished themselves by playing for San Diego teams. Each inductee has a plaque depicting the athlete and a short narrative of their achievements. The plaques are on wooden panels that are on two oppposite walls.
The Hall began in 1953 and as of 2008 has 113 inductees representing 20 different sports.

Open daily from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Admission prices are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, military & students, $4 for children 7 – 17 yrs. old, and free for children 6 and under.
