This waychaple was built as a testement to one mans faith. located on private property,but vistors are welcome. built from concrete and localy collected field stone the structure is approimately 15 feet high built in hopes that it would last 100 yrs

In 1954 construction was started on what was to become the LaFluer Grotto. Joseph LaFluer concerned for his sons safety while fighting in WWII, in a prayer to Holy Mary Mother of God , asking her to intercede on his behalf to ask God to protect his son promised that if his son returned safely he would build a to her " Holy Mary " a monument in return. There is a visitors log book at the sight with the complete story. there is a kneeling bench for prayers
